Within the manga culture there are a few titles that have been serialized for so many years a bit like what’s happening with Hajime no Ippo or with the popular detective Conan. However, one of these two works seems closer to the long-awaited grand finale than the other.
The work of George Morikawa is one of the most iconic of the Japanese publishing industry, a saga that boasts a circulation of over 100 million copies and well over 1000 published chapters during its serialization course. But when exactly will Hajime no Ippo end?
In reality, this question does not yet have a definitive and definitive answer, but the last statements of the Sensei bode well for the story’s approach to its natural conclusion. In a recent statement Morikawa has revealed that he is already preparing the final chapter of the manga. Though he plans to graduate and would like to complete it, he added that he has not set a date on when that will happen.
We’ll just have to wait a little longer to find out when Ippo Makunouchi’s exploits will end. And you on the other hand, how long did you wait for the manga ending? As usual, let us know with a comment below.
