The world was completely shaken up after the Onigashima War. That One of the four emperors has become the protagonist of ONE PIECE, flanked by Buggy, who founded the Cross Guild organization, gained even more influential allies and continued popularity around the world. Navy and government are concerned about the turn of events.
All of these revelations weren’t accompanied by the addition of other characters to the crew: Yamato actually stayed in his homeland to explore along with Momonosuke and Kinemon before setting sail. And with that, the Wano saga is over. ONE PIECE has kept readers glued to the pages for the past few years with this backstory, but now that the war with Kaido and Big Mom is over, it’s time for Luffy to continue his journey to the New World.
In ONE PIECE 1058, a new saga will therefore begin, which will be the first of the final storyline of the manga. What happens will be completely unpredictable as it is unknown which island Luffy chose in the losing draw with Kid and Law. Surely though, the crew must try to understand where the fourth and final poneglyph is, the only missing piece to solve the Laugh Tale puzzle. It will probably be a very quiet chapter in which the expected bounties for the rest of Luffy’s crew could also be revealed.
