Mangaka Gege Akutami, author of the popular series Jujutsu Kaisenhas never hidden his deep passion for Hunter x Hunter, one of the most treasured shonen of the past 20 years, and the community continues to find hidden clues to the work of master Yoshihiro Togashi in the story of Yuji Itadori.
There are a few Easter egg that Akutami inserted into his seriesand although the two series may seem different, especially for the context in which the protagonist’s growth takes place, scholastic for Yuji and exploratory and more adventurous for Gon, the Hunter x Hunter inspiration shines through in the execution of some scenes as well.
In particular, the user @AIIVibeAnime compared one of Gon and Killua’s first meetings to Netero, President of the Hunter Association and probably the best and most powerful to hold that title, and the meeting between Satoru Gojo and Yoshinobu GakuganjiPrincipal of Jujutsu High.
When looking at the framework in which Killua attempts to hit Netero, there is a clear parallelism, particularly in regards to the Designed by Killua and Satoru, for the white hair and of course the incredible resemblance between the two elders.
