The range of publications from DC Comics is enriched with a new publication: the giant of American comics has indeed announced Poison Ivy. It will be a six-issue miniseries telling a solo adventure of the famous Batman antagonist.
Poisonous Ivy is one of the newspapers selected by DC Comics to celebrate the LGBT world on the occasion of Pride Month. Screenwriter G. Willow Wilson will write the story, while artwork is by artist Marcio Takara.
Pamela Isley was a villain, a goddess, an activist, a scientist and even a corpse. In any case, in the new series, Ivy will give up Gotham City with the aim of implementing it his greatest plan: to heal the earth from the damage that humanity has inflicted on it. How? Exterminate man, of course.
The first issue of the miniseries, Poison Ivy #1, will be released in the US on June 7th and Its release will be accompanied by numerous variant covers, by artists Warren Louw, Nick Robles, Frank Cho, Kris Anka and Dan Mora. The main cover art (available below along with all variants) is created by Jessica Fong instead.
In addition, Poison Ivy was also the protagonist of a Miss Bri cosplay recently.
