A few months after the announcement of The Dawn of the Witch’s release window, the anime is finally getting an official date. The anime adaptation is slated to premiere on Japanese TV channel TBS April 7, 2022. This was confirmed by the website and the teaser trailer recently shared with fans.
In the clip, along with the date, we see some of the characters of Kobashiri’s work and their respective ones original voice actors. After the first information about The Dawn of the Witch, more is now being added. New cast members include Yuri Hanamori, Masaaki Yano and Masaaki Mizunaka.
The Dawn of the Witch takes place in the same narrative universe of Grimoire of Zero, now at peace after a very long conflict between church and witches. In some regions of the world, however, the embers of war still burn. The plot follows the story of Cervil, who lost his memory due to mysterious circumstances. To find her, he is sent to training by the Dean of the College of Magic.
