News Japan confirms that the manga is written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda, Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu (Komi cannot communicate) has exceeded the cumulative circulation of 5.8 million copies. The count includes the 23 compilation volumes published to date, not counting the 24th, which is scheduled for January 18, 2022 in Japan.
For his part, Oda began publishing the manga through the magazine in May 2016 Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan. The twenty-second anthology was published by the publisher in August 2021, the twenty-third on October 18 in Japan.
