The editorial office Shueisha published the cover of the twenty-fourth compilation volume of the manga by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, One hit manwhich will go on sale in Japan on December 3. The back of the headline confirmed that the literary franchise had 25 million copies in circulation, including digital copies sold and the first edition of this aforementioned volume.
ONE began publishing the manga independently in 2009 and later Yusuke Murata began its publication as a manga on the service Tonari not a young jump from the publisher Shueisha in June 2012 with a total of 23 edited volumes. The piece inspired a twelve-part anime adaptation produced by the studios. Madhouse and was released in October 2015, followed by a twelve-part second season produced by the studios JCSTAFF and was released in April 2019. In addition, a total of twelve OVAs were produced and a live-action film adaptation is in production in Hollywood.
One Punch Man Synopsis
Seemingly ordinary and inconspicuous, Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. To achieve his childhood dream, he trained tirelessly for three years and lost all of his hair in the process. Saitama is incredibly powerful so no enemy can defeat him in battle. So powerful that he only needs to land one hit to defeat his enemies, it prevents him from enjoying the thrill of battle and has become quite boring.
All of this changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg who wants to become Saitama’s student after seeing what he is capable of. Genos suggests the two join the Hero Association to become certified heroes, recognized for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama, surprised that no one knows who he is, is quick to agree. And so begins the story of One Punch Man, an action comedy that follows an eccentric individual who longs to battle strong enemies who, hopefully, can give him the excitement he once felt and just maybe in the process of becoming popular .
