For the first time, both Goku and Vegeta seem to be out of step with an opponent. In the presence of Granolah, the two might very well decide to join forces, but this time the Saiyan prince’s newfound pride prevents him from working with his eternal rival. Here he is preparing for graduation Dragonball Super 76.
After Goku is defeated, Vegeta accepts the challenge, this will be the fight that he will restore his honor. However, while harnessing the power of the ultra-ego, his new, exclusive transformation, the Saiyajin prince passes out.
On its own, Granolah is immensely strong. At this point, Goku and Vegeta could decide, as usual, to work together and challenge the opponent in a two-on-one, or even resort to Fusion as was done with Broly, but this time the prince’s pride the Saiyans categorically refuses to accept help from others. This is his fight, nothing will stop him from making this fight his own, not even death.
On the final pages of Dragon Ball Super 76, the prince apologizes to his master Beerus, claiming that he can no longer go back to the cold warrior he once was, the powers of a god of destruction are beyond his reach. At this point, too tired to continue the fight, he proudly decides to do it stubbornly face death.
However, when his fate seemed written, Goku intervened again to save him from certain death. Vegeta is one completely different person from who made his debut on the Z series and for the first time we’ve seen him acknowledge his change and somehow detach himself from the past. We leave you at Goku’s numerical strength in Dragon Ball Super.
