In a medieval world like that of Berserk, swords are the order of the day. Of various notes and of all sizes, most impressive is certainly the one in the hands of the protagonist Gatsu. Immediately after the eclipse, the man gets his hands on Dragon Slayer, a weapon so unique that it has become an icon.
With this huge piece of metal that is almost raw and impossible to handle for anyone except the protagonist of Berserk, Gatsu sliced monsters and creatures of all kindsbathing in their blood as the flesh was torn apart. However, someone has suspected that there is much more he can do with Dragon Slayer Gatsu, not least so as not to let the remains of his massacre go to waste.
The GetSumPeps fan shared a fan art on the Berserk SubReddit showing what the real use of the dragon slayer is. In the drawing below in black and white we see them black knight in apron and roast meat with the broadsword at the campfire. Given the amount of meat and the nighttime environment, it’s definitely the remnant of a demonic creature. That way, he or his group of adventurers will certainly never be short of food.
